Just a short post-Christmas update on "Forging Forward," which I gave Julie for Christmas. My wife was not only surprised, but absolutely spellbound by this beautiful painting of her dear Buck. She broke down and cried and could not take her eyes off the portrait for a very long time. For now, Buck resides close to Sandi's pillow in our bedroom. We called Therea together and Sandi told her that this was the best birthday present she had ever received. Theresa was terrific to work with, as I emailed her photos of Buck and she captured him perfectly. The rest was done over the phone and through the mail. Wonderful experience! Thank you Theresa,

As the recipient of this beautiful gift, I have to say that this painting is truly a treasure to me. You know the question, "If your house caught on fire, what is the first (non-living) thing you'd grab?" I would definitely grab my "Buck!" Theresa has captured him perfectly; she no doubt paints with love and inspiration. I asked my husband if Theresa could paint a picture of my other horse, Oreo. "That is already your Christmas present!" he replied. Then I asked him if a painting could be done of my beloved dog, Winston, who passed away last year. "And that is your anniversary present..."
